The bridge between the village and Ivy Croft is being rebuilt and therefore the road is closed.
If coming from Leominster,
either
use the direct route to Ivington and at the road closed sign by the church, turn left and then
keep turning right to Aulden, 2 more right turns….
or
take the A44, Kington, to Monkland ( don’t take Newton Lane, flooded), left A4110 then left,
Ivington, 1.7 miles.
If coming from Hereford it’s probably best to use the A4110.
If using A417 take B road towards Leominster. Turn left Brierley; go straight on at the final
junction then keep turning right, Aulden etc as above.
Enjoy our potholes!

The garden was started in 1997. The cottage is surrounded by formal beds filled with a wide range of plants. Paths lead away from the cottage into less formal areas, set in open grassland. Plantings of willows, grasses, ferns and snowdrops surround the ecological water treatment system and seasonal pond. Mixed borders lead to a young perry pear orchard, a vegetable garden surrounded by trained fruit trees and an embrionic 'natural wood'. Pleached limes screen the car park and partially surround an area of alpines.
If you would like to see more views of the garden, some of Carol Drake's beautifully taken photographs can be found here
